Kick off the summer from the Monte Carlo Beach Hotel

  The prestigious Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel has reopened on April 5, 2024 with a new season of development. To begin with, René Blino is taking on the role of General Manager of the hotel, breathing new life into the iconic hotel on the Côte d’Azur. On the culinary front, Chef Marcel Ravin takes over Elsa restaurant. The restaurant is based on the dining concept “Jardin Marin”, which connects to the land and sea of the Mediterranean region. Club la Vigie, on the other hand, is taken over by Pascal Garrigues with the addition of a dinner serving service. The Monte-Carlo Beach Club has a new pontoon, and the new Petit VIP kids’ club creates a customized beach experience for children. A great summer day starts at the Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel!

  René Brignot pushes the hotel forward, opens a new chapter.

  The fire is passed on and the staff is replaced. René Blino has now joined the Monte-Carlo Marina Resort Group, replacing Danièle Garcelon as General Manager.

  René Blino has worked in luxury and niche hotels in Bangkok, Paris, Cannes, Kuala Lumpur and Courchevel. Originally from Paris, where he opened and managed the Hôtel Madame Rêve, famous for its two Michelin-starred restaurant, he knows exactly what guests expect and will therefore rise to the challenge of keeping the hotel alive and continuing the legend of this iconic Riviera hotel and prestigious club, which opened in 1928. He has held various management positions in human resources, rooms and food and beverage at prestigious international hotel chains. With this background and extensive experience, René Blino has taken on the role of General Manager of the Grand Hotel Monte-Carlo Beach and will open the hotel and club’s new 2024 journey on April 5 and 12, respectively.

  Marcel Ravin Takes Over Elsa Restaurant

  Elsa Restaurant reopens on April 6, 2024 under the leadership of two Michelin-starred chef Marcel Ravin of Blue Bay Marcel Ravin Restaurant.

  Elsa is a balcony overlooking the sea, and on the occasion of this year’s opening, the restaurant launched a new dining concept invented by the chef, “Jardin Marin”. More than a concept, it is a tribute to the Mediterranean sea and land. Originally from Martinique, Marcel Ravin has a deep respect for fishing and maritime culture. His dedicated and reverent culinary philosophy is rooted in the ingredients, flavors and creativity of the sea and the Mediterranean, and Elsa’s menu boldly combines the flavors of the sea with this sun-drenched land as a way of reflecting the restaurant’s sense of responsibility and philosophy, which has always prioritized local agricultural products and has therefore strengthened its partnerships with local producers such as Domaine d’Agerbol. Elsa Reducing the waste of resources and preserving marine resources is always a serious issue, and on March 21, 2024, the restaurant signed the Mr. Goodfish Charter, which promotes a more responsible use of seafood, both in terms of variety and seasonality, and avoids overexploitation of resources. The Monte Carlo Beach Hotel has also been awarded Green Globe Platinum certification.

  Club la Vigie: new changes for 2024

  For the summer of 2024, Club La Vigie will offer a new daytime experience. Pascal Garrigues, Executive Chef of the Grand Hotel Monte-Carlo Beach, will take over the restaurant’s kitchen to offer visitors two Mediterranean summer dishes. Grilled and caught-of-the-day fish for a refreshing lunchtime flavor; and more refined evening dishes in an elegant atmosphere and to the accompaniment of trio music. Nestled between the sea and the pine forests of the bird sanctuary “LPO refuge”, the Club La Vigie restaurant offers a unique atmosphere, whether in the shade of the terrace or under the stars.

  From daytime until sunset, enjoy time at the Club’s lounge bar and Solaire space; from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., resident DJs will be spinning tunes. In addition, with sunbeds on the terrace, ultra-luxurious cabanas under the pines, and the Olympic Pool and Côte d’Azur at the Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel, Club La Vigie is here to offer a different kind of fun experience for everyone.

  Monte-Carlo Beach Club: the soul since 1928

  Exclusively for members of the Grand Hotel Monte-Carlo Beach, the Grand Hotel Monte-Carlo Paris and the Grand Hotel Monte-Carlo Secret, the Monte-Carlo Beach Club, with its Olympic-size saltwater swimming pools, private beaches, waterside cabanas and water sports (pedal boats, paddle boards and canoes), is the soul of the hotel. The hotel’s pontoon will continue the legend in a new look this year, with sea-facing loungers replaced with new terracotta bath towels that echo the hotel’s distinctive colors. For breakfast, Le Deck restaurant returns with a summer menu designed by Pascal Garrigues, and from April 14th, a new “Dolce Vita” brunch will be served on Sundays (except in July and August), made on site.

  New service in 2024: Petit VIP Kids Club Monte-Carlo

  Every year, people meet at the Monte-Carlo Beach Club for a timeless good time. This season, the Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel has partnered with Petit VIP, the leader in five-star kids’ clubs, to create memories for children with the opening of a brand new kids’ club within the hotel.

  Open daily to children from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and from 2 to 5 p.m., Petit VIP Monte-Carlo Kids’ Club aims to create an immersive center of multiculturalism and intergenerational playfulness, where children from 4 to 7 years old will enjoy the world of the deep sea, while those from 8 to 12 years old can enjoy the atmosphere of the Pop-up Beach Club. With flavorful gardens, an Oscar ceremony, sporting events, art workshops, Olympic medals and open-air performances, children will make lasting memories. The a la carte dining service further enriches and personalizes the experience: lunch with friends, non-alcoholic cocktails at the ice bar, stargazing after dinner, and more. It’s a place where kids can have fun doing what adults do too!

  As summer draws closer, Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel will offer new dining experiences and supreme service on the Côte d’Azur for travelers from all over the world. With René Blino at the helm, the hotel is sure to create a new legend.

  Monte-Carlo Beach Club: open from April 12 to October 13 (Le Deck restaurant is open until October 6)

  Monte-Carlo La Vigi Club: open from May 30 to September 15, with direct access from the beach

  Petit VIP Monte-Carlo: open from mid-June to August 31, from €40 per child for two hours.

  Maona Monte-Carlo: open from May 23 to September 29
